MLI Scholarship

The MPACE Education & Professional Development Committee is pleased to accept college member applications for the NACE Management Leadership Institute (MLI) 2018 Scholarship.  MLI 2018 will be held at The Sheraton Westport Plaza in St. Louis, MO, July 9 - 13.  The scholarship will cover Institute registration fees, housing costs and most meals and travel (up to $600).  

MLI is modeled after leading executive development programs and is designed to expand participants’ understanding of management issues in our profession.  This extensive week-long Institute provides sessions on a variety of topics, including strategic planning, leadership, marketing, technology, financial management, legal/ethical issues, and various emerging issues in career services.  Over 600 of your colleagues have participated in MLI! Candidates for the scholarship must comply with the requirements listed on the application form and must show a demonstrated commitment to the association and the profession.

The Professional Development subcommittee within MPACE seeks to provide informative and current information on relevant industry trends related to college career services and university recruitment. Since many of us are busy professionals and oftentimes are unavailable to peruse dense articles, we are providing a digest on articles of interest in order to provide some scholarly professional development in a pinch.The digests will include implications for career services and college recruitment professionals.
