MPACE Conferences are run entirely by volunteers and do not happen without your participation. We need YOU in order to make MPACE 2012 an enjoyable and successful conference. Most of the effort will go into introducing and managing the speakers and breakout presenters. You must be a registered attendee to volunteer. If this sounds like something you would like to do, send an email with the subject line “MPACE Volunteer to Megen Ralphs: email@example.com with your name, organization, email, office and cell phone numbers, and your availability during the conference.
Conference Charity Outreach
The Salt Lake City conference committee is excited to partner with Verizon to highlight "Amy's Story", which is a true story that can hopefully change outcomes for the millions of victims, survivors, and loved ones affected by domestic violence every day. The following Salt Lake City organizations will be the recipients of our outreach program this year: Rape Recovery Center and the South Valley Sanctuary – Domestic Violence Shelter. At the conference, we will have representatives from the local organizations and Verizon to engage in discussion and to share ideas for spreading awareness about domestic violence. We are working on providing Verizon Wireless subscribers the technology to be able to "text a pledge" via your Smartphone, iPad or laptop! We will also accept cash and checks as donations. Please help us meet our goals and assist these local organizations with the very important work they do each day.
FREE Pre-conference Activities You DON’T Want to Miss!

The Salt Lake City MPACE Committeeinvites you to join us as Dr. Phil Gardner, one of the nation’s leading researchers on collegiate employment, presents some of his most recent research, Recruiting Trends: West Coast, specifically for the MPACE crowd. This special pre-conference seminar will be held on Wednesday, December 5 from 8:30 am – 10:30 am. There is NO ADDITIONAL FEE required to attend this event.
Additionally, on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 4th MPACE has set up employer site visits with some of “The Best of Utah” for you: eBay, Goldman Sachs, IM Flash, L-3 Communications, Northrop Grumman, Northwestern Mutual, Rio Tinto, Qualtrics, and Xactware. There is no fee for this pre-conference event, but space is limited. Be sure to indicate your interest when you register. This event is DEFINITELY worth flying in early for! Shuttles leave the conference hotel at Noon on the 4th, so plan your travel accordingly.
Can’t fly in early enough for the site visits on Tuesday? No worries! Join us that evening for a free networking reception at the Utah Museum of Natural History – Sponsored by Rio Tinto. Again, no fee for the event and free shuttles will be running between the conference hotel and the museum.
