Applications for the 2014 MPACE Conference Exhibit Hall are now being accepted and the buzz is out for our conference in San Francisco this year. The Marriott Marquis is centrally located on Market Street in the heart of San Francisco, walking distance to Union Square, the cable car turnaround, shopping, world-class restaurants & night life glitter. This year’s Not Business As Usual theme has provided a number of great new opportunities for our expected 400+ MPACE attendees to interact with our Exhibitors, who will have the opportunity to be face-to-face with many of the decision-makers from schools & companies throughout the 2 day show. You have our assurance we have introduced a number of new, creative ways to provide more face-time for Exhibitors with attendees. This is in addition to the nationally known keynote speakers ready to wow the attendees... especially our opening keynote, Dave Evans, from the d.school at Stanford, formerly at Apple and co-founder of Electronic Arts. NEW FOR SAN FRANCISCO we will be developing an “Exhibitor Packet” that will include materials and FAQ’s that exhibitors will need/want in order to have a successful experience at the conference. We have also been working on some exciting engagement opportunities for our Exhibitors. This year Exhibitors will have an opportunity to announce the MPACE speakers before each of the workshop sessions and we will have a photo scavenger hunt that will get our members connected with our exhibitors. You don’t want to miss this conference.
NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL! In the spirit of our Not Business As Usual theme, the 16 Exhibitors selected to participate and connect with members will be based on MPACE member preference & need, as well as application date received. Applications to participate in the upcoming MPACE Conference are currently being accepted until August 1, 2014, without payment. Selected exhibitors will be contacted for payment in full by August 15. No space is either confirmed or held without notification from the Exhibitor Planning Committee & receipt of full payment. Applications after that date will be put on a Waiting List.
EXHIBIT SPACE/COST: The exhibit space this year in the SF Marriott has only 16 exhibit spaces available, all in one place in the ballroom hosting the keynote & general sessions. To guarantee a great flow of traffic, we are making the change to Table Top Exhibits this year. Breakfasts & lunches will be hosted in the exhibit hall to keep attendees in front you. The price this year is $1195 which includes 8' x 8' table-top exhibit space with table, chairs, & sign.... Wi-Fi is included for the 2-day show in your registration fee.  Electricity or a wired Internet set-up will be an extra charge.  Exhibitor registration includes full registration for one person, including all conference meals and events. EXHIBIT DATES, Including Set Up & Tear Down: Set up is Wed, 12/10, between 7 am, and 11 am. Tear down is Thurs, 12/11, starting at 5 pm. The Exhibit Hall is open on Wed, 12/10 from 11:30 to 7 pm with the exception of keynote or general sessions scheduled, & Thurs 12/11, from 7:30 am to 5 pm. Wed night Opening Reception is scheduled at this time for the ballroom/exhibit hall.
