MPACE in collaboration with the University of Arizona are excited to present:  Best Practices for Quality Internship Programs. This event brings together an experienced group of employers in the Phoenix Metro area who have very strong internship programs.  These organizations have invested a great deal into growing and developing their internship programs over the years and are willing to share their successes and set-backs with other local employers/organizations who have an interest in starting or strengthening their own internal program.  Learn from organizations like American Express, The Vanguard Group, Freeport McMoRan, Enterprise Holdings, Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Discover Financial and the Arizona Department of Transportation.  Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to this panel of internship employers.

In addition, this half day event will cover these four topics related to the full life-cycle of a great internship program:

1.       What is an Internship, Why an Internship Program?

2.       Marketing, Outreach and Recruiting.

3.       The Internship Itself, Onboarding, Orientation and Playbook.

4.       Intern to Full-time Conversion, Evaluations and Return on Investment.

Representatives from the University of Arizona and Arizona State University will also be in attendance to help organizations to get connected to their respective universities.

Light refreshments will be offered in the morning along with a lunch and networking hour after the program.  Parking is also included.

MPACE Members - $35
Non-members - $55
