Webinar: Gen Z - 2.0: Resilience, Mental Health $ 1-on-1 Time

Speaker: Summer Shaffer, M.S.

Speaker Bio: Summer Shaffer, M.S. has been working in generational research for over 20 years. She has helped both large and small organizations through open and candid conversations about generational differences, norms and impacts.   In addition to her consulting work, she has worked in higher education and student affairs for over a decade at Colorado State University's Career Center. She also co-hosts a generational management podcast and publishes blog articles on a variety of generational topics.  Summer infuses her research with storytelling and humor. Participants will take away practical ideas on to use their new-found knowledge in an impactful manner in their work.

Description: Gen Z (born 1995-2010) has quickly been credited by the media and healthcare professionals with de-stigmatizing mental health care and for having a powerful political voice.  However, they have also been labeled as having a lack of resiliency and requiring a lot of 1-on-1 time in the workplace.  This webinar will help you dive into some of the drivers behind what makes Gen Z tick.  Explore how Gen Zers make decisions and explore ways to recruit and manage this new generation.  If you attended Summer’s presentation at MPACE Conference 2017 you had the Gen Z Overview – this webinar will give you a deeper look into Gen Z behaviors.
