Speaker: Jack Buffington
The presenter of this webinar is Jack Buffington. Jack is the Program Director for the Supply Chain Management Program at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He is also responsible for warehousing and distribution for MillerCoors Brewing.
His has his Ph.D., specializing in supply chain, innovation and material science, from the Lulea University of Technology in Lulea, Sweden, and he was a post-doc researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm Sweden.
For sustainable supply chain, his research focus areas are the development of a 21st Century Supply Chain and the Closed Loop Supply Chain system. Jack believes that there is a significant opportunity in the future for supply chain to be a driver of innovation to address business and societal challenges. He has published numerous articles for refereed journals, trade periodicals, and general business sites, and have published five books, including his most recent book called Peak Plastic: The Rise or Fall of our Synthetic World.
Jack is focused on supply chain systems as driving change in the social economy and natural environment across the world. He works diligently to connect organizations with students to support supply chain projects and offer career opportunities within supply chain.
