Webinar: Video Interviewing Trends & Best Practices


Description: Video interviewing is on the rise. According to NACE’s Recruiting Benchmarks Surveys, video screening interviews rose from 13.2% in 2017 to 20% in 2018. This webinar, geared toward both employers and career educators, will discuss the current landscape surrounding video interviewing, including employer usage and student perceptions. You will learn the benefits of video interviewing as well as gain strategies and best practices to improve the candidate experience. Insight on the implications of video interviewing and the future of the workforce will be shared.


Speaker: Espie Santiago, Director of Employer Relationships, CollegeNET



Speaker Bio: Espie Santiago has eighteen years of experience in the profession, including sixteen years in career services. After more than a decade at Stanford University, Espie joined CollegeNET in 2018 as Director of Employer Relationships for StandOut®, a video recruitment platform. She enjoys connecting people to technology to improve their lives at work, school, and beyond. At Stanford, Espie served as Assistant Dean of Career Education leading employer relations, recruiting programs, and career communities and coaching. She was co-chair for the MPACE Annual Conference in 2014 and served on the MPACE Board in 2004-2006 and 2008-2010. In recent years, Espie has devoted her time to diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in the workplace. Her presentations include, “Women of Color in Career Services - Creating Pathways for Career Advancement” (Midwest ACE 2018), “Advancing People of Color: Inspiring Inclusion in Career Services” (NACE 2017), and “Celebrating Leaders of Color” (MPACE 2016).
