Gen Z and the Multi-Generational Workplace

Generational studies have never seen as much attention as they have over the past decade with the media coverage of Millennials. Today’s Gen Z students and emerging professionals bring different characteristics to campuses and workplaces adding the multi-generational fabric of our organizations. Forget all the hype offered by most generational presentations, we will focus on generational norms and what they mean for today’s workplace, recruiting and retention. Applying “millennial antidotes” to Gen Z is not going to work – find out what will.  This isn’t your standard generations presentation, Summer will get you involved, inspire creative thinking and help you identify ways in which you and your organization can create a generational-inclusive work environment.

Summer Shaffer has worked with organizations both large and small to help transform their employee engagement and retention programs. Her work with organizations has helped teams better understand multigenerational work environments and transform their programming, organizational support structure and workplace solutions to better engage generational strengths while leveraging open conversations about generational sticking points.
