MPACE Sending Andrea Hanson, UC Davis & Hema Paliwal, Mihaylo College of Business & Economics, CSU Fullerton to NACE Management Leadership Institute
ANDREA HANSON has been on the management team at the UC Davis Internship and Career Center (ICC) for four years and worked at the center for over nine years. In her current position as Associate Director she oversees several areas including: employer relations, center IT, and human resources. Andrea has experienced the value of being a member of MPACE for many years. Her involvement includes: attending four annual conferences and serving as a committee member of the technology committee for the 2014 conference in San Francisco. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters of Arts in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University.
HEMA PALIWAL is the Assistant Director of Employer Relations for Mihaylo Career Services at Mihaylo College of Business & Economics at California State University, Fullerton. In her role, Hema leads college-wide responsibility for the employer relations program to deliver quality services to employers leading to the expansion of employer involvement and recruiting opportunities for 9000 college of business students. Her background in human resources, business development, and strategic operations allows her to really hone in on how to best support employer needs while understanding what is best for the students. Hema is a double alum of Cal State Fullerton, having received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with a minor in Human Communication and her MBA in Organizational Leadership. Hema has also been an active member of MPACE for several years having served on the PacSouth Regional Planning committee, volunteering for the annual conferences, and most recently serving as Programs Co-Chair for the 2016 Denver Conference.
MPACE Sending Adrienne Antonio, from City Year to the
NACE Recruiter Leadership Institute
ADRIENNE ANTONIO is the Senior Regional Recruitment Manager for the West Region of City Year, an education non-profit organization. She builds relationships and recruitment visits on various campuses and provides customer service to potential City Year AmeriCorps members. Additionally, she oversees two Campus Recruitment Ambassadors at UCLA and UCSB and a team of Recruitment and Admissions Department Ambassadors, who currently serve as AmeriCorps members, as they provide support for outreach and engagement efforts. Adrienne was born and raised in Delano, CA and is a proud alumna of UC Santa Barbara where she received her B.A. in Sociology. Go Gauchos! Adrienne served as a first year AmeriCorps member with City Year New York and continued to serve at two startup sites in Sacramento and Jacksonville. Adrienne had the amazing opportunity to co-present at the 2016 MPACE Annual Conference in Denver on non-traditional strategies to increase campus recruiting return on investment.
